Patriots coach Bill Belichick and longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday 'have broken up' as couple call

Legendary Patriots coach Bill Belichick has broken up along with his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday, Page Six reviews.

The e-newsletter says the 71-year-old and Holliday, who've dated since 2007, have 'been taken with a drawn-out, back-and-forth breakup for almost a 12 months.'

The news comes simply days sooner than the start of the NFL season, with the Patriots making ready to host the Eagles on Sunday afternoon.

New England finished 8-9 and missed the playoffs last season.

However, the crew hired former Texans coach Bill O'Brien as its offensive coordinator in January, and will hope Mac Jones improves in his 3rd season.

Of course, Jones was the successor to the Patriots' legendary quarterback Tom Brady, who spent most of his occupation with Belichick and received six Super Bowls with him.

The Patriots are set to honor Brady - who retired for a 2nd and reputedly ultimate time in February - at halftime of the Eagles recreation at Gillette Stadium. 

He remaining performed for the franchise in 2019 ahead of spending his final 3 seasons with the Bucs.
